    Hi all,

    I have been asked this question by a friend and I thought I will post it here as I am sure many of you will have awesome resources and information to share with fellow admins.

    I am looking for a mentor and have not had one in the past. Where do I start? What should I look for in a Mentor? Where can I find a mentor?

    Hi Preethi,

    In regards to mentorship, here's what comes to mind:

    • I'd suggest the individual think about who they look up to. Then take a chance and make that request. 
    • If they don't have individual in mind, start thinking about the skillsets and industry they want to learn from. Then start researching LinkedIn or asking connections for recommendations.
    • Suggest expressing interest to your human resources team. There may be some great resources in your company (depending on the size).

    • Are they a member of AAP? You've come to the right space. We have so many members we can learn from.
